Cristiano Ronaldo has asked premier league club Manchester United will accept a transfer bid for the club if it is the right offer. The 37-year-old’s decision to leave the club comes with ambitions to play in the UEFA Champions League next season, an impossibility with the Red Devils, as they finished sixth in the Premier League standings last season, according to the Times.
Several clubs are interested in signing the all-time Champions League top scorer – such as Bayern Munich, Napoli and Chelsea. The German Champions Portugal captain is said to be the favorite to move from the club to Spanish club FC Barcelona with their star striker Robert Lewandowski. Ronaldo has told the club that he wants to play in the best competitions in the last years of his career.
The 37-year-old joined Manchester United for the second time in his career in the 2021/22 season, ending his campaign as the club’s top scorer, scoring 24 goals in 37 appearances.
