We all look for references when choosing whether to go to a restaurant or order food. But when a celebrity endorses one, it’s a big deal—both for the consumer and the restaurant. This tiny Indian eatery in Europe was pleasantly surprised when Ryan Reynolds gave them a shout-out on his Instagram story and wrote that it serves “the best Indian food in Europe.” What could be better for a business promoted by a major Hollywood star like Ryan Reynolds? What’s even more surprising is that the restaurant isn’t even a luxurious establishment we’d expect top-class celebrities to visit.
Located in the small Cheshire town of Elsmere Port, the Indian Bucket House of Light made headlines and became popular overnight. A Chance Meal Out There by Ryan Reynolds impressed him so much that he decided to share the food from the restaurant and get excited. The ‘Deadpool’ star posted a picture of the restaurant’s flyer and wrote “Best Indian food in Europe” and highlighted the restaurant’s website printed on the flyer. It’s a really sweet gesture, shall we say.

Ryan Reynolds Instagram Story
It is known that Reynolds was in the UK to watch a game for his National League football club Wrexham AFC. It is still not known whether he ate at the restaurant, ordered takeaway or ordered food from there online. While Reynolds never reveals his food, the restaurant’s menu certainly looks impressive. it includes classic indian food Like Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebab and Onion Bhaji in the snacks section. The main section also offers Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh and Chicken Vindaloo in various other popular Indian dishes, mostly non-veg.

Shah Rahman, who contributed to the family-run business, told the British media house, “We didn’t really know he had come because my mom and dad were working at the time, but the next morning I Woke up and I follow Ryan Reynolds on Instagram, so I saw his post and I was like ‘Eh, this is our business? I ran into my mom and dad saying ‘Did Ryan Reynolds come to the restaurant? He said ‘Who is Rain Reynolds?
Reports suggest the family didn’t know when Ryan Reynolds visited the restaurant or ordered, but appreciates the social media mention.
Shah said, “We want to reach out to him and ask him to come down again and sit down, we will have a conversation. We can even dedicate a dish to him – Deadpool Masala.”
