‘I’m in touch with the pilot’
Releasing a statement on Sachin Pilot’s fast to be held on April 11, Randhawa said, ‘The one-day fast of Sachin Pilot has been accused by the party. This is anti party activity. If he had any problem with his government, he should have been picturized in the party photo instead of the media. I am AICC incharge for five months. But the pilot never discussed these circumstances with me. I am in touch with her and am also appealing to talk to her by all means as she is an asset of the Congress party right now.
‘Congress fighting against corruption’
Hinjinder Singh Randhawa reminded Pilot, ‘Congress is fighting against corruption. Sachin Pilot should have spoken to me. I talk to CM Gehlot. If there was no action even after that, then Pilot had the right to fast, but instead of keeping the issues in the party, he chose the path of fast directly, which is not right.
Why would the pilot be on hunger strike?
Sachin Pilot said in a press conference on Sunday that if action is not taken in the corruption case in Rajasthan, he will go on a fast against the Gehlot government. He said that no action was taken against former MP Vasundhara Raje in the Khan scam as well as in the Lalit Modi case. Our government has not taken any action against bribery.
