Sachin Tendulkar answered the question that who is better player between him and Virat Kohli?

Virat Kohli has long been seen in the Indian cricket team as the natural successor to Sachin Tendulkar because of his batting skills. While Kohli is currently going through a lean phase and hasn’t scored an international century since 2019, he still has an incredible record with the bat across all formats. While many of Sachin Tendulkar’s records may not be broken anytime soon, Kohli’s bat is expected to reach within walking distance of some of the incredible feats of the Mumbai-born cricketer.

Kohli’s rise over the years has also fueled debate among cricket fans as to whether he is a better batsman than Tendulkar.

While many fans will continue to support Tendulkar in the debate, others, possibly some younger fans, will pick Kohli.

Recently Tendulkar himself was asked this question and the former India captain had a diplomatic answer to it.

“Better Cricketer – Sachin or Virat?” American journalist Graham Bensinger asked while interviewing Tendulkar on his YouTube channel.

“What about putting the two of us on a team?” Tendulkar replied.

Meanwhile, Kohli achieved a major milestone during India’s 44-run series-win over West Indies in the second ODI in Ahmedabad last week, joining Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni in an elite list.

Kohli’s latest milestone is to play 100 ODIs at home. The former India captain reached the historic figure while representing the team against West Indies in the second ODI of last week.

India clinched the three-match ODI series against West Indies 3-0. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma also won the first T20 match of the three-match series.
