Jaisalmer: Barmer Sadri Police have busted a gang of vehicle thieves, arrested two persons and detained a minor. 10 motorcycles and a car have also been recovered from them. The masterminds of the gang started stealing vehicles from the age of 16.
SP Deepak Bhargava according to sadri SHO Anil Kumar, Isha KhanA resident of Derasar had lodged a case on December 26, stating that his bolero Kurza on NH 68 was stolen from Fanta.
Bhargava said that the police caught a gang including 23-year-old Jagdish of Ghoneri Nadi Ramsar Ka Kua, 28-year-old Om Light Lakhsar Sodiyar, and a minor.
The SP said that the police have recovered one Bolero and 10 motorbikes from the Kotwali police station area, out of which five bikes have been stolen.
SHO Anil Kumar said that Prakash and Jagdish were the masterminds. He said that they have stolen 50 bikes from Kotwali, Sadar (Rural) and Dhorimanna police station areas.
He said he was arrested earlier, but he started stealing again. These culprits have been arrested. He said Om Prakash had also stolen a motorcycle belonging to the Dhorimanna police personnel.
