Saera Electric Auto resumes production at Haryana’s Bawal plant – Times of India

New Delhi – Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Saira Electric Auto Private Limited (SEAPL) has started its production step-well plant in Haryanawhich it acquired from the American cult bike maker Harley Davidson, The firm, which first introduced the e-rickshaw under Mayuri SEAPL said in a statement, the brand is manufacturing e-rickshaws and e-carts at the plant spread over five acres, where it has invested more than Rs 350 crore.
Nitin Kapoor, Managing Director, SEAPL said in a statement, “Our new plant at Bawal, in addition to our existing plant at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, will further enhance the growth of our manufacturing capacity, thereby meeting the growing demand for green transportation in the country. ” Statement.
He further said that the new plant has a production capacity of two lakh units of electric two-wheelers and 36,000 units of electric three-wheelers in a year.
The company also manufactures popular low-speed e-scooters under the brand ‘Yogo Bikes’.
Earlier this year, the company also partnered with LML Electric to manufacture electric two-wheelers at its Bawal plant.
