Coming back to the death threat letter, it was found by Salim Khan’s bodyguards after a morning walk in Bandra’s Bandstand area. According to a police source, the letter said, “Salim Khan, Salman Khan very soon will be your Moosewala GB LB” (Salim Khan, Salman Khan very soon you will meet the fate of Moosewala.)

There was speculation that ‘GB’ and ‘LB’ may refer to gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, though the police did not comment on this aspect.

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district last month and according to local police, Lawrence Bishnoi could have been involved in the gang murder.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey said that the police is taking the threat letter very seriously. “It is too early to say whether the letter is fake and we cannot say anything about Lawrence Bishnoi gang as well,” he said.

A case under section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Bandra police station.

On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Tiger 3 as a co-star Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Apart from this, his Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is also in the pipeline.
