Salman Khan’s friend Azam Ansari released on bail after being arrested for disturbing the peace

Salman Khan Doppelganger, Azam Ansari, who was arrested for ‘disturbing the peace’, said that his wish is to meet the ‘real brother’ – Salman Khan. Ansari, who was released on bail, told reporters on Tuesday that he appreciated the police action and their treatment of them. He said, “I do not regret getting arrested. The police were right in their action, none of them misbehaved with me and even the senior officers were very kind.”

He said that he wanted to lose weight and is inspired by Salman Khan. Asked why he is impressed by the actor, Azam said: “Salman Khan is down to earth, helps the poor and needy, and has always kept himself fit and active.”

“Fifteen years ago, I had gained a lot of weight and weighed 128 kgs, after which I was ridiculed. Since I was a fan of Salman and used to watch all his movies, I decided to get fit like him and go to the gym. I did get a lot of comments from people who want to have a body like me,” Ansari said.

Azam, who earns a living from the real estate business, said, “I want to meet Salman and make a video with him.”

Azam has around 1 lakh followers on Instagram and has made videos on all the popular songs of the actor. On Sunday, Azam was arrested by the police after he was shooting a shirtless video and had an altercation with the public near the clock tower.
