Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India]Feb 15 (ANI): Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently visited the Palani Murugan temple in Tamil Nadu.
Several videos and pictures went viral in which Samantha can be seen worshiping at the temple.
Samantha climbed 600 steps of the temple and lit camphor on each step. Director C Prem Kumar was also with him.
Samantha, who is currently undergoing treatment for an autoimmune condition called myositis, kept her mask on during her visit to the temple.
Samantha wore a simple salwar suit for the temple visit.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her film ‘Shakuntalam’. The film is scheduled to release on 14 April. It was scheduled to release on 17th February but due to unknown reasons the film got postponed once again.
The new release date will mark the release of the film in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Gunasekhar, who is also the co-producer of the film, wrote in the caption, “The love that was forgotten… An unforgettable story of love that remains. Mark your calendars – #Shakuntalam releases in cinemas worldwide on 14th April.
