Samara Weaving, Bill Skarsgard join ‘Boy Kills World’ cast

The film is touted as a unique action spectacle set in a dystopian fever dream reality

Actors Bill Skarsgard, Samara Weaving and Yayan Rouhyan are set to star in revenge action fantasy film “Boy Kills World”.

Produced by filmmaker Sam Raimi, the film will be directed by debutant director Moritz Mohr. Hollywood Reporter.

“Boy Kills World” is seen as a unique action spectacle set in dystopian fever dream reality.

The story follows a deaf-mute boy(s) with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, the boy escapes into the woods and is trained by a mysterious magician (Ruhian) to suppress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.

Weaving will play an assassin named June 27.

Reimers and Tyler Burton are writing the film’s screenplay from a story by Smith Mohr and Arend Reimers.

The film will be financed by Simon Swart and Wayne Fitzjohn of Nthiba Pictures and Alex Labovici of Hammerstone Studios.

Filming of the project will begin in South Africa in early 2022.

Skarsgard, best known for starring in “It” movies, will next appear in Keanu Reeves-starrer “John Wick 4”.

The weave was most recently seen in Paramount’s “Snake Eyes.” She will next be seen in filmmaker Damien Chazelle’s Babylon.

Ruhian is a martial arts actor who made his mark among American audiences with “The Raid”. He also appeared in “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum”.
