In the final over of the game, Asif Ali lost his cool and angrily waved his bat at Afghanistan bowler Farid Ahmed and the pair turned physically after the former was dismissed. The players had to intervene with the umpire to defuse the tension.
Apart from creating chaos in the stadium, some fans also joined in the scattered fists outside the match venue.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar also slammed former Afghanistan Cricket Other Pakistan cricket experts later lambasted the Afghans, as was Shafiq Stanikzai, CEO of the Board (ACB).
It was the exact opposite in the stands the next day as Indian and Afghan fans celebrated their friendship.

It is worth noting that Afghanistan stars like Nabi, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman are favorite celebrities in India and are integral to their Indian Premier League sides as well.
India and Afghanistan are on course with Asia Cup commitments as Pakistan take on Sri Lanka on Friday in a preview of the final on Sunday.
