new Delhi: BJP Member Sushil Kumar Modi said on Monday that some left-liberals as well as activists are trying to get legal recognition for same-sex marriage and urged the government to strongly oppose any such efforts.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, he also urged the judiciary not to pass any such order which is against the cultural values of the country.
He said that some left-liberal people and some activists in India are trying to legalize same-sex marriage.
