Samsung: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 launched with octa-core processor, 7040mAh battery and 10.5-inch display – Times of India

Expanding its tablet lineup, samsung has announced its new Galaxy Tab A8. The company claims that the Tab A8 is the most streamlined and powerful tablet in the A series lineup.
The company’s latest tablet is designed for education and entertainment purposes and comes with a 10.5-inch display, a 7040mAh battery, and an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has the company’s signature tablet design and feel. It is a lightweight tablet with a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) TFT display with 16:10 aspect ratio and 80% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the tablet is an octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
The Tab A8 comes with a quad-speaker setup like the one supported by the flagship Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ Dolby ATMOS Technology.
The latest from the South Korean company comes pre-installed with the tablet samsung tv Plus it offers more than 200 free channels and other on-demand content for the users. The tab will also include two months of free YouTube Premium subscription.
It runs Android 11 operating system under One UI custom user interface and is backed by 7040mAh battery.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Tab A8 packs an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front. It also comes with a new screen recorder feature that allows students, teachers and gamers to record on-screen content.
This feature allows users to record themselves making annotations as they highlight key points or write on the screen based on ongoing activity.
