Samsung: Samsung to upgrade its 200MP camera sensor, expected on upcoming Galaxy flagships – Times of India

The upgraded 200MP sensor will be known as ISOCELL HP3.
Apart from the 200MP resolution, no other technical details about the ISOCELL HP3 have been announced yet. The report suggests that the difference between the HP1 and HP3 sensors may be narrowed down a bit, given Samsung’s frequent duplication of the 108MP camera sensor. Hardware upgrades from the HP1 to the HP3 are likely to be rather minor, with changes focused primarily on computational algorithmic improvements.
