Sania Mirza pulls out of US Open, writes emotional note on Instagram story

India’s tennis champion Sania Mirza withdrew from the US Open 2022 due to a hand and elbow injury. Sania revealed this news through Instagram story. “Hello guys, a quick update. I have some not-so-great news right now. I hurt my forearm/elbow while playing in Canada two weeks ago and apparently didn’t realize it until I had my scan yesterday How bad it was and I’ve actually torn a little bit of my tendon. I’ll be out for weeks and withdrew from the US Open.”
