Around 1,000 participants from around 25 colleges took part in Shastra University’s four-day national level sports fest, Colosseum, Edition 13, which concluded here on Sunday.
Shastra University scored 178 points overall and won the Colosseum Overall Rolling Trophy, followed by NIT-Tiruchi at the second position with 100 points and Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai at the third position with 75 points. Trophies were presented to the winners at the closing ceremony presided over by V. Pandeswari, former international athlete and Chief Reservation Supervisor, Southern Railway, Madurai, along with S.K. Swaminathan too. B Sriperia, Director, Physical Education and others present.
