Satish Kaushik Funeral Live Updates: Veteran actor Satish Kaushik had arrived in Delhi after attending Javed Akhtar’s Holi party to celebrate the festival with his childhood friends and family. While the latest actor didn’t drink at the party, he started feeling uneasy on the night of March 8. He was taken to the hospital after complaining of uneasiness and died of a heart attack on the way. The actor’s postmortem was done at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi and now the body will be taken to Mumbai where he will be cremated.
Satish Kaushik has worked in many types of films. He is known for his comic roles as ‘Calendar’ in ‘Mr India’, ‘Pappu Pager’ in ‘Deewana Mastana’ and many more. He also gave stellar performances in other films like “Ram Lakhan” and “Saajan Chale Sasural”. he directed SrideviHis first film, “Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja” and later “Prem”, were both disasters, but he had several other hits including “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain” and “Tere Sang”.
He is survived by his wife and 10-year-old daughter.
