Satyendar Jain admitted in Central Court is not an accused, claims Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said the conspiracy against Satyendar Jain has been exposed as he claimed that the Center has admitted in court that the AAP leader is not an “accused”. The remarks came after some news reports claimed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi High Court said Jain was not an accused.

The Center itself has admitted in the court that Satyendra Jain is not an ‘accused’. When he is not accused, how can they call him corrupt? A statement issued by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) quoted Kejriwal as saying. AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh also hit out at the central government and said that the BJP is jealous as the Delhi government’s mohalla clinics are being praised all over the world, so they have imprisoned the city’s health minister on false charges. Put.

Prominent corrupt business tycoons like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, Nitin Sandesara and Yeddyurappa, Vyapam scamsters and Eshwarappa are not prosecuted by the EDs of the Modi government. In a statement, Singh alleged that the BJP-ruled ED at the Center was turning into an institution that humiliates and imprisons opposition leaders. He said the ED itself has admitted in the High Court that there is no complaint or FIR against Jain.

The AAP MP said that the BJP is saying that Jain is corrupt and the ED had sought 10-day remand for him. But when the matter was heard in the High Court yesterday, the ED said that there is no FIR or complaint against Jain. No complaint has been filed against him and yet BJP ministers, including Smriti Irani, have called him corrupt on national television, the statement quoted Singh as saying.

Singh alleged that despite the orders of the trial court, the ED interrogated Jain in the absence of a lawyer and the fact that they harassed him. He demanded that Union Minister Smriti Irani and the BJP should apologize to the people for leveling corruption allegations against a minister against whom no FIR has been registered.

Jain was arrested on May 30 under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and a trial court sent him to ED custody till June 9.
