Satyendra Jain Massage CaseDays after a purported video of jailed AAP leader Satyendar Jain showed the minister lying on a bed and getting a foot massage in Tihar Jail, sources have said the man who provided VIP treatment to the jailed minister has been arrested. There is a prisoner and not a physiotherapist.

Sources told that the masseur of Satyendar Jain has been identified as Tarachand’s son Rinku. He is an accused in a rape case, charged under section 6 of POCSO and sections 376, 506 and 509 of IPC.

Jain (58), who is in judicial custody on charges of money laundering, can be seen as a man in a white T-shirt reading some documents and massaging his feet in a video that has gone viral on social media.

The Delhi Prisons Department comes under the AAP-led city government.

Earlier this week, a superintendent of Tihar Jail was suspended for his alleged involvement in providing special treatment to Jain in the prison.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had claimed in a court here that Jain was getting special treatment inside Tihar Jail.

The federal probe agency made the submission before Special Judge Vikas Dhull while concluding its arguments opposing Jain’s plea in the money laundering case.

Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for the ED, said, “Unknown people were massaging Jain’s feet even after curfew. They were also given special food.

He had also shared the CCTV footage with the court and alleged that Jain was spending most of the time either in the hospital or enjoying various facilities in the jail.

Earlier this month, Director General (Prisons) Sandeep Goyal was transferred from Tihar Jail, days after inmate Sukesh Chandrasekhar alleged extortion of Rs 10 crore by Goyal and Jain for prison security.

The AAP had dismissed the allegations as absurd and baseless.

The ED had arrested Jain and two others on May 30 in a money laundering case based on a CBI FIR in 2017 under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The AAP minister has been accused of money laundering through four companies allegedly linked to him.
