Google on Saturday paid tribute to renowned Indian physicist and mathematician Satyendra Nath Bose with a special doodle. On this day in 1924, Bose’s quantum formulation was immediately recognized by Albert Einstein as an important discovery in quantum mechanics. The renowned physicist earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the Presidency College, Calcutta, at the age of 15, and a master’s degree in applied mathematics at the University of Calcutta shortly thereafter.
