I will help you improve like HDFC net-banking site for Rs 20,000, he continued. The fraudster then requested that she use WhatsApp to send a sample of her work.

A Reddit user claiming to have created the fake HDFC Bank website provided a video of the con artist.

After being impressed, the fraudster made two calls to him. The software developer texted her to say that he would call her the next day after she declined the call.

The Redditor also outlined his future ambitions. “To make him pay, I’m going to stage a scene similar to FOMO. If that doesn’t work, I’m going to get some Hindi language audio and email it to him”, said the Redditor.

One user suggested, “As an example, here is a screenshot from HDFC website. Take 20k and go. Scam the con artist.” Another user commented, “Bhola fraudster, tell to give advance 5k for sample”

Added a third user, “I laughed when I saw the statement on the above website: “Pancard” upgrade requires mandatory login. They at least need to see how to spell PAN card correctly.” Go.”
