Andhra Pradesh State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in association with Singapore-based Chelsea Academia on Friday organized a one-day online workshop on “Phoenics and Phonetics”.
Prathap Reddy, Director, SCERT discussed the action plan for similar training programs on phonetics in future with the Singapore team. The participants learned the nuances of speech sounds and modulation in the workshop and the same would be imparted to the teachers at the grassroots, Sri Reddy said.
The program was conducted by the officers of the department Shailja, Ramesh, Sharda and Master Resource Person Soumya. The 24 resource persons participating in the workshop will develop the content for the videos to be uploaded on the official YouTube channel of SCERT to train 1.8 lakh teachers across the state.
