Schools, colleges of Rajasthan allowed to function with 100% capacity

According to a Home Department order issued on Monday, the Rajasthan government has allowed academic activities in universities, colleges, schools and coaching institutes with 100 per cent capacity in view of the decline in the number of COVID cases. Classroom activities are currently being conducted with 50% capacity. The Home Department on Monday issued guidelines allowing 100 percent seating capacity from November 15.

The order stated that classroom activities in schools, universities and colleges for classes 1 to 12 shall be conducted with 100 per cent capacity. As per the order, all the coaching institutes in the state will also be able to operate at 100 per cent capacity with mandatory requirement of both doses of Kovid vaccine for their academic and non-teaching staff from November 15. Four COVID-19 cases were reported in the state on Monday and the number of active cases is 42.
