RUPSA alleges that many schools are on the verge of closure due to rampant corruption in the education department. Despite several pleas to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Minister BC Nagesh, there has been no improvement in the situation.

Echoing RUPSA’s allegations, the Associated Management of Primary and Secondary Schools (KAMS) in Karnataka said they had recently written to the Prime Minister about corruption in the state’s education department.
