Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar on Sunday said all the delegates attending the Foreign Minister’s meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) were highly impressed by the food, culture and hosted by Goa.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar on Sunday said all the delegates attending the Foreign Minister’s meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) were highly impressed by the food, culture and hosted by Goa. India hosted the meeting on May 4 and 5 at a ‘beach resort’ in Benaulim, Goa.

The meeting was attended by Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, China’s Foreign Minister Xin Kang, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyar Saidov and Scheduled Caste Secretary Zhang Ming.
Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Siroziddin Mubarakdin, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtaleu and Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev also participated.
Jaishankar tweeted, “The SCO Foreign Minister’s meeting was held in Goa on May 4-5, 2023.” All the delegates were very impressed with the Goan food, culture and hosted.
He wrote, “Thanks to partner Pramod Sawant and all concerned officials for the excellent handling.”
