Bhubaneswar: People will be allowed to enter Lok Seva Bhawan Secretariat, Kharavel Bhawan And Rajiv Bhawan, two years later from April 18, the top three administrative offices in the state. These offices were out of bounds for the public and the media due to the pandemic.
The Home Department issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday with the improvement in the situation of Kovid-19 and the easing of restrictions.
It said that the reception counter at the Lok Seva Bhawan would be made fully functional so that the general public could be allowed to raise their grievances and other official functions at the state secretariat.
The public and others will be able to apply for the pass online through the link (http://epravesh.odisha/gov.in/ or through the mobile app (ePravesh). The order also states that only accredited journalists will be allowed entry. From April 18 in the Secretariat
Earlier, all journalists who received annual passes from the State Information and Public Relations Department were allowed to visit the Secretariat.
However, earlier, all journalists authorized by the I&PR department were allowed to cover day-to-day events in the Secretariat building. Recently, the state government was criticized for not allowing journalists to enter the secretariat. Opposition Congress And BJP Raised the issue and demanded immediate withdrawal of such restrictions.
