Services on Delhi Metro’s Blue Line affected for an hour due to technical glitch

Delhi Metro officials said efforts were made to rectify the technical problem.

New Delhi:

Services on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro were affected on Sunday due to a technical glitch in a Patel Nagar-Noida-bound train, DMRC officials said.

“Train services on the Blue Line were disrupted from 2.05 pm to 3.15 pm due to a technical snag in a Noida-bound train from Patel Nagar station,” he said.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that efforts were made to rectify the technical problem at Patel Nagar station and then at Karol Bagh station, resulting in bunching of trains on the adjacent section during this period.

“As troubleshooting was taking time, the affected train was finally taken out of service to avoid delay. Thereafter, regular train movement resumed on the entire Blue Line from 3.15 pm,” officials said.
