‘Sex/Life’ renewed for second season on Netflix

Sarah Shahi, the relationship drama starring Mike Vogel, Adam Demos, and Margaret Odette, will return for a sophomore season alongside the star cast.

Showrunner, producer, executive producer and writer Stacy Rukisar said in a statement, “sex/life A dream is to come true. To create a show about strong female sexuality that has captivated millions of viewers is not only insanely fun but also incredibly gratifying.”

She continued, “When I think of all the women who have reached out to the world to say that this show speaks to them deeply personally, I am so inspired. I am Billy and all of us. Thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to continue this story.”

The show was inspired by the book 44 Chapter 4 About Men by B. B. Easton, and focuses on a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past.

According to reports, the show was watched by 67 million households in the first four weeks on Netflix after its premiere.
