Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Koyla’ co-stars Salim Ghaus Died on 28 April due to cardiac arrest in Mumbai. The 70-year-old actor complained of chest pain on Wednesday night and was immediately rushed to the hospital. His wife Anita Saleem confirmed the sad news to a leading daily and told, ‘We took him to Kokilaben Hospital last night, and he passed away this morning. He hated mourning and wanted life to go on. He did not suffer, he does not like to depend on anyone. He was a very proud person. He was a versatile actor, a martial artist, an actor, a director and a lovely cook in the kitchen. Salim’s fans and many celebs took to their social media handles to mourn the sudden demise of the actor. Actor Sharib Hashmi wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘First time saw #SalimHouse Sahab in the TV serial #Subah! And his work was great!!’ Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah also expressed his condolences to Salim’s family on his social media. Vivaan shared a monochrome picture of the actor and wrote, ‘RIP Salim Ghosh sir. Deeply shocked to hear the news of his death. A great great artist and a wonderful human being. A giant actor of Shakespearean proportions. My heart goes out to Anita ma’am and Aaryama. Strength and prayers to the entire family.’ Salim Ghosh was a versatile actor who worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English films apart from TV shows.
