Pakistan Muslim League-Nawazi (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif On Sunday, he nominated himself for the post of Prime Minister, while the former ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) named Shah Mehmood Qureshi as its candidate for the post.

as per the submission deadline prescribed by National AssemblyAccording to the Express Tribune newspaper report, Mr Shahbaz, 70, submitted his nomination papers for the new Leader of the House.

Senior PML-N leaders Khwaja Asif and Rana Tanveer will serve as support to Mr. Shahbaz.

Mr Khan’s party named 65-year-old former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi as its candidate for the premiership post.

PTI leaders Amir Dogar and Ali Muhammad Khan will serve as campaigners for the party’s vice president.
