‘Bull’ marks the directorial debut of Aditya Nimbalkar, who has worked extensively with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

The story and screenplay have been written by ‘Bellbottom’ fame Asim Arora and Parvez Shaikh.

Kapoor said that he is excited and honored to play the role of a paratrooper in the film inspired by real-life events.

“‘Bull’ is a full-blown action film inspired by real events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara. It is a privilege to play the role of a paratrooper who leads his boys through a historic and selfless mission that is no longer true to its accuracy. And has become prestigious for bravery. The opportunity to play the role of a paratrooper is delightful and indeed an honour,” the 40-year-old said in a statement.

T-Series Managing Director Kumar said that he is happy to be reunited with Kapoor after the 2019 blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’.

“We are all set to provide action-packed entertainment to the audience with our second collaboration with Shahid after Kabir Singh. I am glad that my association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta is the key to great cinema.”

Butala, Partner, Guilty Buy Association said that the film is dedicated to all the brave people who saved the country.

“We dedicate this film to the men in uniform and our soldiers who are brave from unimaginable upheavals to defend the sovereignty of this great nation. Shahid will be seen in a thrilling avatar. This is our first association with T-Series. And I’m looking forward to it.”

Mehta, Partner, Guilty Bye Association, said they were honored to be able to tell a story that celebrates soldiers.

He said that the theme of the film will be liked by the audience across India.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin in 2022.
