Shehnaaz Gill is facing massive backlash after the actress extended her support to filmmaker, comedian and actor Sajid Khan. Salman KhanAs a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 16. Sajid is also known for his films Housefull and Housefull 2 and for his roles in Jheel Bole Kauwa Kaate, Main Hoon Na and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Shahnaz Gill sent a video message for him saying that he should have a lot of fun and not fight. Sajid said that Shahnaz is like a younger sister to him. For the uninformed, Sajid was accused of sexual misconduct by several women in the 2018 #MeToo movement. Seeing Shehnaaz showing her support to the filmmaker, netizens were furious and started trolling the actress on social media.
One user wrote, “I love Shehnaaz but I also hate her for supporting criminal #SajidKhan…People like Sajid should be behind bars. Here in Bollywood he is doing a show and then directing a film.
Another said, “What I hated the most at yesterday’s premiere was Sana supporting Sajid for films.”
Amidst all the hate messages and hate comments on her, Shehnaaz’s fans came out in support and defended her. One user wrote, “Truly Shehnaaz’s real strong fans are as careless as Shehnaaz herself. I don’t care about Shehnaaz and her career. Whatever happens, she will shine. Let her burn!! Proud of you Shehnaaz. #ShehnaazGill.”

Sajid Khan in Bigg Boss 16
Sajid Khan entered the Bigg Boss 16 house yesterday. After coming on stage, Sajid told Salman Khan that he has been sitting at home for four years and now he wants to build a relationship with the audience once again through this show. He reveals that he is ready to take on all the tasks and tries to be polite and courteous inside the house. Sajid said that his sister, renowned choreographer and director Farah Khan had advised him to show his true side in the show.
Shahnaz Gill’s upcoming projects
Shehnaaz Gill is going to debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Jaan. However, it is yet to be officially announced by the actors and filmmakers. Helmed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film, which will feature Pooja Hegde in the lead role, is slated to release on December 30, 2022.
She will also share screen space with John abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Nora Fatehin is a multi-starrer directed by Sajid Khan. Titled ‘100%’, the film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Amar Butala. It is scheduled to release on Diwali 2023.
