Leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd announced on 26 April that Shigetoshi Tori has resigned as Designated Whole-time Director as Joint Managing Director.
However, the firm said Tori would remain a non-executive director of the company.
“It is hereby informed that consequent to the withdrawal of nomination by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Mr. Shigetoshi Torii resigns from the post of Designated Whole Time Director as Joint Managing Director (Production & Supply Chain) with effect from the close of business hours on 26th April , 2023,” Maruti Suzuki said in a regulatory filing.
