shocking! Virat Kohli’s privacy attacked, fan posts video of India batsman’s hotel room, see

Former India captain Virat Kohli’s privacy came under shock after the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 match against South Africa in Perth on Sunday (October 31). A fan entered the Indian cricket legend’s hotel room and posted a video of the same on social media platforms when Kohli was not present in his room.

Kohli slammed the fan, saying that he was ‘not okay’ with such ‘radicalisation’ and ‘invasion of privacy’.

“I understand that fans are very happy and excited to see their favorite players and are excited to meet them and I have always appreciated that. But this video here is horrifying and it has made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I can’t have privacy in my hotel room, where can I really expect any personal space?? I am not okay with this kind of bigotry and complete invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and don’t treat them as an object for entertainment,” Kohli wrote on social media.

Kohli was dismissed for 12 off 11 balls as India suffered a five-wicket defeat in the Super 12 match against South Africa. This was Kohli’s first dismissal in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 after scoring consecutive unbeaten fifties against arch-rivals Pakistan and Netherlands in the last two matches.

The former India captain is currently the third highest run-scorer in the T20 World Cup 2022, with 156 runs in just 3 matches to his name with two fifties and a strike-rate of 144.44. Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis with 180 runs from 6 matches leads Netherlands opener Max O’Dowd, who has scored 161 runs in 6 matches.

It is not yet clear what action the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will take for this shocking invasion of Virat Kohli’s privacy. But it is expected that the team management will soon take up the issue with the International Cricket Council (ICC).
