Shriram City declares interim dividend of ₹27, sets record date

Shriram City Union Finance announced that its Board of Directors in its meeting held on Tuesday has, inter alia, announced the second position. interim dividend Of 27/- (ie 270%) per equity share approx 10/- for each financial year 2021-2022.

The Board of the Company has fixed March 17, 2022 as the record date for payment of second interim dividend subject to deduction of tax at source, if any, to eligible shareholders.

“Second Interim Dividend will be paid/remitted on or before 25th March, 2022. In addition to the interim dividend of ₹ 10/- per equity share of ~ I 0/- for the financial year 2021-2022 declared by the financial year 2021-2022 The Board of Directors in its meeting held on October 27, 2021 and paid to the eligible shareholders on November 24, 2021,” Shriram City said.

Shares of Shriram City Union Finance have fallen over 21% so far in 2022 (year-to-date or YTD), while the stock is down more than 4% in the one-year period. Shriram City Union Finance is one of the leading NBFCs in India that offers loans like Personal, Business, Bike, Gold Loan and Fixed Deposit.

The company registered a growth of 6% in consolidated net profit on 322 crores for the quarter ended December 2021 as compared to 304 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company had said that it has recorded highest ever credit performance in the quarter under review with disbursements of 8,398 crore and the collection efficiency was more than 100%.
