Siddharth Malhotra is no longer ‘alone’ and he wants everyone to know it! The actor who tied the knot with Kiara Advani last month was clicked by the paparazzi in Mumbai. Be it award shows or social media, newlywed Sidharth has been showering praises on his wife ever since the two got married on February 7 at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace and posted their first pictures as husband and wife.
Now, a video has surfaced where shutterbugs ask Sidharth Malhotra to pose for a ‘solo’ photo, but the newlywed in a quirky response reminds the paparazzi that he is no longer ‘solo’ . This left everyone in splits. Siddhartha said, “I am no longer alone.”
Siddharth and Kiara were recently seen together at an award show in Mumbai. Both took home the trophy for their outstanding performances in their films. While Kiara was awarded Star of the Year for her performances in ‘Shershaah’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ and ‘Govinda Naam Mera’, Siddharth received the Best Actor award for Shershaah.
During her acceptance speech, Kiara gave a shoutout to her husband-actor Sidharth. Soon after Kiara finished her speech, Sidharth went on stage and hugged Kiara tightly. Along with receiving the award, he also thanked Kiara. Siddharth said, “Saving the best for the last. My talented co-actor who was so confident in his role that I married him. And here she is. The lovebirds exchanged vows on February 7 at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. Pictures from the couple’s first wedding became India’s most liked Instagram post. After marriage, both of them gave two receptions, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. On 9 February, they hosted a reception in Delhi for friends and family. On February 12, the newly married couple hosted a reception for their industry friends. Their Delhi event was an intimate affair and the couple didn’t pose for the paparazzi, but their Mumbai reception was star-studded.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth was last seen in the spy thriller Mission Majnu alongside Rashmika Mandanna. It was directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Garima Mehta and Amar Butala. The film was well received by the audience. While Kiara will be seen romancing Karthik Aryan in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. She will also be seen in ‘RC 15’ alongside Ram Charan. The film is billed as an action drama with present-day politics, starring an ensemble cast, with Kiara playing the female protagonist.
