New Delhi: Google pays tribute to the late actor Shivaji Ganesan’s 93rd birth anniversary has been doodled on Friday, 1 October.
The doodle was created by Bengaluru-based artist Nupur Rajesh Choksi.

Shivaji on this day in 1928 Ganesan was born as Ganeshmurti in villupuram, a city in the southeastern state of Tamil Nadu state, India.

In December 1945, Ganesan made a name for himself with his dramatic portrayal of the 17th-century Indian king Shivaji—literally.

The late actor then made his on-screen debut in the 1952 film “Parashakti”, the first of more than 300 of his films spanning a cinematic career spanning nearly five decades.
Known for his expressive voice and varied performances in Tamil language cinema, Ganesan quickly gained international fame.
