Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has invited applications to fill 50 positions of Assistant Manager. The last date for applying for the position of Assistant Manager at SIDBI Bank is today, that is, November 28, 2023. Interested candidates can fill out the form on SIDBI’s website, sidbi.in.

According to the official notification, there are a total of 50 vacancies for Assistant Managers, including eight for SC, four for ST, 11 for OBC, 5 for EWS, and 22 for unreserved candidates. Recruitment for the Assistant Manager position at SIDBI will be based on group discussion and interviews, scheduled for December or January. The dates for these are yet to be announced.

Salary Details

After successful recruitment, the salary for Assistant Manager Grade A General Stream at SIDBI in hand will be Rs 90,000 per month, which includes various allowances, such as HRA and dearness allowance. The initial pay for them would be Rs 44,500. Furthermore, after four annual increments of Rs 2,500 each, the total amount of basic pay will be Rs. 54,500 in the fifth year of service. In addition, after 17 years, the SIDBI Grade A Officer’s basic salary will be Rs 89,150.

Eligibility Criteria For SIDBI Bank Assistant Manager Position

The eligibility criteria include a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% for ST/ST/PwBD) or qualifications such as CA/CS/CWA/CFA/CMA or a bachelor’s degree in law/engineering with similar marks. Additionally, candidates should have two years of experience in lending in commercial banks or All India Financial Institutions in MSME or three years of experience in lending in NBFCs under MSME.

Age Limit

The maximum age for candidates is 30 years, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer, 10 years for PwBD (unreserved & EWS), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) in the upper age limit.

Application Fees

The application fees are nil for SC, ST, PwBD, and staff candidates (SIDBI’s permanent and regular employees). However, others need to pay an application fee of Rs 925, including those in the OBC, EWS, or General categories. Except for staff candidates, all applicants’ intimation charges amount to Rs 175. Therefore, the total application charges for SC/ST/PwBD is Rs 175 while OBC, EWS and General candidates need to pay Rs 1,100 while staff candidates don’t need to pay any charges.
