Snapchat launches Lens to celebrate Vasant Panchami and Saraswati Puja

Multimedia instant messaging app Snapchat has launched several AR experiences to mark Vasant Panchami (also known as Basant Panchami) or Saraswati Puja, as India prepares for the start of spring. These new local lenses with special themed Bitmojis will help capture the joy of this festive period and pay homage to Goddess Saraswati.

The new lenses give Snapchatters a vibrant canvas of festive designs and wish ‘Happy Vasant Panchami’ to those who watch it.

Lens Explorer will also have a section dedicated to all community-made Vasant Panchami special lenses from February 4-6.

This will include a newly developed Vasant Panchami lens from Mohnish Raut, an online lens maker that is part of the original lens maker. Snapchat, Earlier, he has given some unique lenses which have showcased his creativity and skills as a lens maker on Snapchat.

From multiple colored lenses, there is something for everyone to create and share their own unique greeting.
