Somalia says al-Shabaab attack kills 6 outside capital – Henry Club

Nairobi: Six people were killed and 16 injured in an attack by an al-Shabaab extremist group on the outskirts of Somalia’s capital on Wednesday.
Somalia’s government said the morning attack targeted police and outposts outside Mogadishu.
Al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Shabaab frequently targets Mogadishu, and the United Nations and other international observers have warned that the group will take advantage of Somalia’s current election crisis to launch more attacks.
National elections have been delayed by more than a year.
