The first-ever Sonos premium headphones in the country has good company

Sonos Ace is the first headphone model from the company in its premium range that includes soundbars and portable speakers.

Sonos, renowned for its multi-room wireless audio systems, has launched its first-ever Sonos Ace wireless headphones in India this week. These over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones boast 40mm dynamic drivers and support Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive sound experience. It also comes equipped with eight microphones, supports active noise cancellation (ANC) and is compatible with the Sonos mobile app. With ANC enabled, the headphones offer up to 30 hours of playtime on a single charge.

Sonos Ace Headphones Price In India

The price of the Sonos Ace in India is Rs 39,999 and can be purchased on the Sonos India website. The over-the-ear headphones are now available in the country in Black and Soft White colours.

Sonos Ace Headphones Features

The Ace headphones has 40mm dynamic drivers and eight microphones for noise reduction and voice recognition. They also have an ANC setting that cancels out external noises. People can use an aware mode that allows them to hear sounds while wearing the headset.

It also has spatial audio capabilities, including dynamic head tracking, which alters the direction of spatial audio based on the wearer’s head motions. This can be enabled through the Sonos app, which can also be used to change bass, treble, and volume. Users may adjust the volume, manage media playback, and make calls by sliding the Content Key on the Sonos Ace up and down.

The Sonos Ace also incorporates a TV Audio Swap feature, which allows users to switch their TV audio from a compatible Sonos soundbar to the Sonos Ace with a single button press. According to Sonos, it will work with a few brands of soundbars, including the Arc, Ray and Beam.

The headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.4. With multipoint capability, users can pair it with up to three devices at once. They also added a 3.5mm port. They contain built-in sensors that pause playback when users remove the headphones from their ears and resume when they put them back on.

With ANC turned on, the Sonos Ace is said to last up to 30 hours of playback on a single charge. A three-minute charge with the supplied USB Type-C connector is supposed to provide up to 90 minutes of listening time.
