The viral clip also caught the attention of actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood, who was so impressed with her singing that he offered the woman a chance to sing in films.

Sonu Sood reshared the video of the woman singing on Twitter on January 27 ‘Mere Naina Sawan Bhadon’ 1976 film ‘Lover’.

In the caption of the post, the actor asked for the woman’s contact number so that he could make her sing in films. “Send her number. Maa will sing for films now,” wrote Sonu Sood.

The clip, originally shared by Mukesh Kumar Sinha, shows the woman singing a Lata Mangeshkar song on her daughter’s request. Though hesitant at first, the woman sings the lyrics of the song in her soulful voice while making chapatis in the kitchen.

Mr Sood’s kind gesture is being appreciated by internet users who praised him for being a ‘messiah’ for the poor. People also appreciated the talented lady and were swayed by her melodious voice.
