Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Limited’s (SPIC) second quarter net profit has more than doubled to ₹109 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from operations grew 15% to ₹708 crore, the agro-nutrients and fertilizers company said in a statement.
“Our profitability amidst a challenging macroeconomic environment is a testimony to the successful alignment of our corporate strategy with market demand,” said Ashwin Muttiah, Chairman.
“Going forward, we will continue to maximize value-creation for our stakeholders through world-class innovation, infrastructure upgrades and community outreach programs,” he said.
