Upon leaving, she learned that Musk was “completely naked except for a sheet covering the lower half of his body.” The announcement said that during the massage, “Musk exposed her genitals and then touched her, and offered to buy her a horse if she ‘wanted to do more,’ referring to sexual favors.” The attendant refused and continued the massage without any sexual conduct, his friend was quoted as saying. “She’s not going to do sexual favors for money or gifts,” she said.

The attendant’s complaint was promptly addressed and a session with the moderator took place where Musk himself was present. The matter reached a courtroom and as of November 2018, Musk, SpaceX and the flight attendants have agreed to a severance settlement to pay $250,000 in exchange for a promise not to sue the claims. The agreement also includes a nondisclosure and nondiscrimination clause that prohibits the victim from discussing a severance package or information about Musk and his businesses.
