A speeding Ferrari car was damaged after it collided with the guardrail of a road near the Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai. The police gave this information on Sunday.

No one was injured in the accident that took place in the early hours of Friday as its airbags opened immediately, a senior official said.

A high-speed luxury car collided with a road railing in Bandra police station area. He said that no other vehicle was hurt in the incident.

He said the driver of the car and others in it approached the Bandra police station to report the accident, following which a diary was entered.

The official said that the luxury car worth about Rs 5 crore is registered in the name of a private company.

Earlier this month, a speeding sports utility vehicle (SUV) rammed several vehicles on the Bandra-Worli sea link, killing five people.
