SpiceJet can operate only 50% flights for eight weeks: DGCA

SpiceJet can operate only 50% of its total flights for the next eight weeks, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had ordered on July 27.

The airline will be monitored more during this period.

The date of issue of this order,” said the order issued by Manish Kumar, Joint Director General of Civil Aviation.

Any flight over 50% during the next eight weeks will be permitted only if the airline is able to demonstrate that it has sufficient technical support and financial resources to operate such increased capacity safely and efficiently. Huh.
