Sri Lanka hikes fuel prices, encourages people to work from home – Times of India

Colombo: Sri Lanka increased petrol prices On Tuesday, 20%-24% and diesel prices also increased by 35%-38%, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana vijesekera said.
In a message on Twitter, Vijesera said that the transport and other service charges set by the government will also increase similarly. “Work from home will be encouraged to reduce fuel usage and manage energy crisis,” he said.
