Age Limit
As per the SSB Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for all positions is 30 years. The minimum age requirement is 18 years for the Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman) post and 21 years for the Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) Female post.
Selection Process
Applicants with accepted applications will be issued admit cards to participate in the recruitment process. At the recruitment venues, candidates will undergo biometric attendance, and capture digital photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, and more as part of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Subsequently, there will be a written test and a medical examination.
Nationality Requirement for SSB Recruitment
As stated in the official SSB Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates applying for various positions must meet the specified nationality requirement.
For the positions of Sub Inspector (Pioneer) and Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse Female), candidates are required to be Indian citizens for their applications to be considered.
Candidates for the positions of Sub Inspector (Draughtsman) and Sub Inspector (Communication) are eligible to apply if they are Indian or Nepali citizens.
Examination Fees
Candidates in the UR/EWS and OBC categories need to submit a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200 using online methods such as net banking, credit card, or debit card. In contrast, SC, ST, E-Servicemen, and female candidates are exempt from this examination fee.
Salary
According to the official SSB Recruitment 2023 notification, successful candidates will receive a monthly salary within the Level-6 pay scale (Rs 35,400-112,400). This compensation package also includes additional allowances like Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and more.
