SSC to conduct biometric verification for online exam to prevent fraud

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification regarding exit verification during computer based tests of all recruitment exams. The commission has instructed the candidates to submit their biometric data such as photograph and left thumb impression (LTI) before leaving the computer lab after the examination.

“The candidates of the Staff Selection Commission examinations are hereby informed that it has been decided to conduct the exit verification of all the candidates,” the official statement said. The Commission, in its notification dated November 5, 2021, has asked the candidates appearing for the Computer Based Test (CBT) to cooperate in the process.

Earlier, only admission verification was used during the exam. SSC conducts various examinations like Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE), Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), and Stenographer Examination, Constable GD and others to select suitable candidates for various posts in Ministries and other government organizations.
