Stand-up comedian gets schooled for his skit on ‘Indian Funeral’

Comedy is not a piece of cake that everyone can ‘bake’. It takes a sense of relatability along with humor. However, this does not mean that every sensitive topic touched upon is relevant to the audience. Such was the case with a stand-up comedian whose skit on ‘Indian funerals’ was heavily criticized on social media as users found it more annoying and less funny.

Self-styled ‘Laughterpreneur’ Jeeveshu Ahluwalia shared his piece on ‘Indian Funeral’ and posted the gist of it on the photo-sharing platform. He began by saying, ‘Indians are not the right people to perform funeral rites… just as we do not react well. His feelings during the funeral.
